These images are exhibited as prints which are available to purchase.
They are printed using Epson Premium Lustre paper with Epson Ultrachrome ink, a combination estimated to last 70 years (research from Epson and Wilhelm Imaging Research). The image is printed within an 8 x 10" box though proportions will vary depending on the print. The paper has 1" margins around the image. The frame, if purchased, is 13 x 15" matte black aluminum.
Prints are signed and in numbered editions of 25 (eg. 5/25 means this print is the 5th and there will not be more than 25 printed).
Prices are $175 unframed and $275 framed plus shipping.
Though I do not make a profit, I am not listed as a non-profit organization. If you are not in a position to buy a print, but are interested in donating money to support the work, that is gratefully accepted. I would like to see these images become a book at some point. Other work in the studio now explores a variety of themes. I don't know if there will be more images exploring thoughts about Down syndome specifically or more generally or not.
I teach at Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana in the Art Department. My core media are Ceramics and Photography. When these prints were made, I was teaching in a similar capacity at Bethel College in Kansas.
I graduated with a B.A. in art in 1979 from Goshen and did my graduate work in Claremont California. My M.F.A was finished in 1986 and I have been teaching since then.
