title: Wheat I
This works with the same thoughts as the image on page 8, Wheat II.
In most ways Emily is like a lot of other children, in some ways she is unusual. The ways she is different, I think, are important.
For me it is like art. Art has similarities with other parts of life. It also has differences. Somehow the combination is designed to reveal something you would not have seen otherwise.
Sometimes in Emily's experiences of life, part typical and part not, the differences focus your attention on something you would not have seen otherwise. She reveals. It is a tremendous gift she offers the communities she will live in.
